The North Seattle Jewish Women’s Collective is back with a pre-Shavuot event!

3,336 years ago, the children of Israel stood as one nation at the foot of Mount Sinai and received the Torah from G-d. Every year on the holiday of Shavuot we renew our acceptance of G-d’s gift, and G-d "re-gives" the Torah.

In honor of this special holiday, join us for a special women’s gathering where we'll indulge in the art of baking garden inspired focaccia reminiscent of the botanic beauty that graced Mount Sinai during the giving of the Torah. We’ll cap off the evening off with traditional dairy foods, and food for thought; a meaningful conversation on the relevance of the Ten Commandments in our modern lives.
