We’re thrilled to kick off Year Two of our beloved First Fridays series back with a cozy winter edition! Each month, we’ll journey to a new corner of the Jewish world, exploring the tastes, melodies, and stories that make every community unique all through the timeless warmth of Shabbat.
Why Shabbat?
Shabbat has been a central part of Jewish life for thousands of years a time to pause, connect, and experience a deep sense of peace and unity that transcends borders. Through this new series, we’ll highlight the beauty of Shabbat and provide our community with meaningful ways to connect with each other.
February Theme: Shabbat in Argentina
This month’s First Fridays takes us to Argentina a Shabbat infused with warmth, rhythm, and the vibrant spirit of Argentine Jewish life. Join us for an evening of soulful melodies, rich flavors of classic Argentine beef dishes, aromatic spices, and timeless traditions shaped by generations of Jewish community in Argentina.
