We’re excited to bring back our vibrant First Fridays series, now with a special summer edition celebrating the rich flavors, traditions, and stories of Jewish communities from across the globeâ€"all experienced through the beautiful lens of Shabbat.
Why Shabbat?
Shabbat has been a central part of Jewish life for thousands of years a time to pause, connect, and experience a deep sense of peace and unity that transcends borders. Through this new series, we’ll highlight the beauty of Shabbat and provide our community with meaningful ways to connect with each other.
June's Theme: Shabbat in the Shtetl
Step back in time and experience the charm of Shabbat in the Shtetl–a cozy, spirited evening inspired by Jewish life in the old villages of Eastern Europe. Enjoy traditional favorites like kugel and borscht, soulful melodies, and warm community vibes. Celebrate Shabbat with heart, heritage, and heimishe flavor.
